The basics

What exactly am I licensing?

Permission for AI labs to use selected business records for defined purposes, such as training and testing AI systems, under terms you approve. You are not selling your company or handing over your systems, and you keep ownership of your records.

Why would AI labs pay for ordinary business records?

Because the public internet has already been used, and what AI systems still lack is the record of real work done well: requests, back-and-forth, judgment calls and finished results. Years of email, files and system history from a working business are full of exactly that.

Who buys the records?

AI labs and research teams that build and test AI systems. We present your opportunity to them, compare the offers that come back and negotiate price and terms on your behalf.

Do I need to send files or give anyone access to get started?

No. A conversation is all it takes to start. We ask about your business, the systems you use and how far back your records go. Nothing is shared until there is an agreement you have approved.

Value and fees

How is the value determined?

Mostly by team size, years of history, the variety of record types and how well they connect, along with quality, rights and buyer demand. Our figures are partner estimates for qualifying records. Buyer interest and value are not guaranteed.

Estimate your value →

What does it cost?

Nothing up front. We are paid a success fee, a percentage of the license value, only if a license is signed. There are no retainers or hourly fees, and the first conversation and estimate are free with no obligation.

How our fee works →

Is a deal guaranteed?

No. Buyer interest depends on demand, quality and rights, and value is never guaranteed. A first conversation is the quickest way to learn whether your records are likely to attract an offer.

What kinds of businesses qualify?

Usually businesses with more than 20 employees and several years of saved digital records, such as email, documents, accounting and operating systems, CRM, tickets or call recordings. Smaller teams with deep, specialized records can still be worth a conversation.

Privacy and rights

Will my clients’ or employees’ information be exposed?

Protecting people comes first. Names and contact details are replaced, sensitive identifiers are removed, sensitive categories are excluded entirely, and you decide what is in scope. Rights and privacy are reviewed before any records are shared.

How records are protected →

Am I allowed to license my business records?

Often, yes, but it depends on your client agreements, confidentiality obligations and the rules in your industry. That is why rights are reviewed before any records are shared. Some records may need to stay out, and some businesses will not be a fit.

Do I lose ownership of my records?

No. A license grants defined, limited rights to use selected records for agreed purposes. You keep ownership of your records, your systems and your business.

Could something in our records embarrass us later?

That risk is why scope is yours to set. People and companies are replaced with stand-ins, sensitive categories are excluded, and you can leave out any channel, client or period you are unsure about. Permitted uses are also limited in writing.

The process

How much of my time will this take?

Less than you might think. After the first conversation we coordinate reviews, communication and next steps with the labs, and bring you in for the decisions that matter: scope, offers and signing.

Will you need access to our systems?

Not to start. Any access or export needed to prepare records is defined in the agreement you approve, limited to the agreed scope and set up with you. Nothing is collected before then.

Can I change my mind?

Yes. You can stop at any point before you sign a license. Until then, nothing has been shared.

For advisors

I advise business owners. Can I refer a client?

Yes. CPAs, fractional CFOs, consultants and other advisors can introduce a client. We handle the conversation, keep you informed and discuss referral arrangements with you one-on-one.
