For advisors

Bring your clients a new kind of return.

AI labs are paying established businesses to license selected records. If you advise owners with years of email, files and systems, introduce them to a careful, client-first process. We handle the conversation and keep you in the loop.

Why advisors work with us

  • Your client pays nothing unless a license is signed
  • Rights and privacy reviewed before anything is shared
  • No work required from you
  • Updates at key milestones, with your client’s permission
  • Referral arrangements available, discussed one-on-one

01 Who refers

The advisors owners already trust.

You know which clients have built something worth licensing. Here’s who we work with.

  • CPAs and accounting firms

You already know which clients have years of clean records.

  • Fractional CFOs

A source of non-dilutive cash worth putting in the model.

  • M&A and exit advisors

Owners preparing to sell want to understand every asset.

  • Attorneys

Clients approached by data buyers need a careful process.

  • Wealth managers

Business owners are your clients’ biggest asset.

  • IT providers and MSPs

You know where the records live and how they’re kept.

  • Business consultants

Operators trust you to bring them good ideas.

  • Peer groups and associations

Members want to know what this market means for them.

02 When it comes up

The moments to mention it.

You don’t need to sell anything. These are the conversations where an introduction helps.

  • A client mentions a data buyer or AI company has contacted them
  • Planning conversations about cash, capital or a big investment
  • Exit, succession or valuation work
  • Year-end and strategy reviews
  • A client asks what AI means for their industry

Subject: An introduction: Cascade Data Partners

Hi [Name],

I wanted to introduce you to Cascade Data Partners. AI labs are paying established businesses to license selected records, like years of email, files and system history, to train and test their systems.

Cascade represents the business, not the buyer. They review rights and privacy first, bring offers from AI labs and negotiate on your behalf. They’re paid a success fee only if a license is signed, and a first conversation needs no files or logins.

Worth a short call? I’m happy to connect you, or you can reach them at info@cascadedatapartners.com.

05 Referral arrangements

Clear terms, in writing.

We offer referral arrangements for advisors. We discuss them one-on-one and set them out in writing before any introduction leads to a license.

Many professions have rules about referral fees, and they often require disclosure to the client. We’ll structure any arrangement to fit your obligations. Some advisors prefer no fee at all and simply want a good outcome for their client. That works too.

Tell us who you are and, if you like, a little about the business. We’ll reply personally.

  2. We reach out to the owner with care.Only with their permission, and on their schedule.
  3. You stay informed.Updates at key milestones, with your client’s permission.

Questions

For advisors.

Want to vet us first? Start with how it works and how records are protected.

Do you offer a referral fee?

Yes, we offer referral arrangements for advisors. We discuss them one-on-one and put them in writing. Some advisors prefer no fee and simply want a good outcome for their client, which is fine too.

Can CPAs and other licensed professionals accept referral fees?

Professional rules vary. Many require that referral fees be disclosed to the client, and some prohibit certain arrangements entirely. We will structure any arrangement to fit your obligations, and you should confirm with your own professional standards.

What does my client pay?

Nothing unless a license is signed. Our success fee is a percentage of the license value, agreed with the owner in writing.

Do I need to be involved after the introduction?

Only as much as you want to be. We handle the conversation and the process, and with your client’s permission we keep you informed.

How will you protect my client?

Rights and privacy are reviewed before any records are shared, people and companies are replaced with stand-ins, sensitive categories are excluded and the owner approves every term.
